Forecasts seem to be excellent when you can get them to show for your area. Admittedly I use the app infrequently. However sometimes the wind map overlay shows on my chosen area, and sometimes it does not. No amount of trying seems to make any difference, half the time all I get is a google earth view on a sunny day and no wind info. "Help" is all but nonexistent. Too frustrating to continue with.
